Microsoft Power Platform
Every ERP eventually meets a job it wasn't built for — a report rebuilt by hand each month, an approval buried in email, a process still living in a spreadsheet. The Power Platform is where those gaps get closed, with dashboards, apps and automation built in days rather than commissioned over quarters. And because it runs on the same data as Business Central, everything you build works on live figures, not yesterday's export. It is where a working ERP quietly turns into a real operational edge — and where several of our own products began.
Power BI
Turn your business data into decisions people act on.
Power BI takes information held in Business Central, Excel and your other systems and presents it as interactive dashboards anyone in the business can read. Reports refresh on their own, drill from a headline figure down to the transaction behind it, and reach your team wherever they are: in a browser, inside Teams, or on a phone. Role-based dashboards mean your finance director, plant manager and sales lead each open the same trusted data and see the view that matters to them.
We build reporting models directly on your Business Central data, so the figures on screen reconcile to the ledger every time.
- Live ERP dashboards
- Drill down to transaction
- Role-based views
Power Apps
Custom business applications, built in weeks rather than quarters.
Power Apps lets you create the applications your operation genuinely needs (a shop-floor capture screen, a quality inspection form, a stock count tool, a field data app) using low-code tools rather than a full development cycle. Apps run on phones, tablets and browsers, work offline where connectivity is unreliable, and write straight back into Business Central so nothing needs re-entering.
It is the quickest route to replacing the spreadsheets and paper forms that gather at the edges of an ERP, and it is how several of our own extensions began.
- Mobile and offline capable
- Writes directly to your ERP
- Weeks to first release
Power Automate
Let routine work run itself, reliably, every time.
Power Automate connects the steps and systems that currently depend on somebody remembering. Purchase approvals route to the right person and escalate if they stall, documents file themselves, alerts fire when a credit limit is reached or a shipment slips, and data moves between Business Central and third-party systems on a schedule you set. With more than a thousand ready-made connectors it reaches well beyond Microsoft, into banking, logistics and e-commerce platforms.
Most organisations see approval cycles shorten sharply and manual re-entry disappear within the first handful of flows.
- Approval and escalation workflows
- 1,000+ connectors
- Scheduled data synchronisation
Microsoft Copilot Studio
Conversational agents that answer from your real business data.
Copilot Studio lets you build AI agents that handle the questions your team fields every day (order status, stock availability, policy queries, service requests) and answer them from live Business Central and Dataverse data rather than a static FAQ. Agents publish into Teams, your website or a customer portal, hand over to a person when they should, and are governed under the same security model as the rest of your Microsoft tenant.
Note. Copilot Studio is the product formerly known as Power Virtual Agents.
- Grounded in live ERP data
- Teams and web channels
- Human handover built in
Microsoft Dataverse
One shared definition of your business, across every application.
Dataverse is the secure data foundation the Power Platform is built on, and it is what allows Dynamics 365 applications to share a customer, a product or a project without duplication. Permissions, relationships and business rules are defined once and enforced everywhere, so an app your operations team builds obeys the same logic the systems finance relies on.
For businesses running Business Central alongside CRM, Dataverse is what keeps the two speaking the same language.
- Single source of record
- Enterprise-grade security
- Shared across Dynamics 365
Microsoft Fabric
One analytics platform for everything your business measures.
Fabric brings data engineering, warehousing and business intelligence into a single governed environment, with Power BI built in and OneLake as one storage layer beneath it. It is the right answer when reporting needs to reach beyond the ERP (combining Business Central with machine data, e-commerce, CRM and external sources) and when you want that history retained for forecasting and AI.
For most of our clients, Fabric becomes relevant at the point where one more Power BI report stops being the answer.
- Unified data estate
- Power BI included
- Forecasting and AI ready
