    Scan material into the job

    Consumption posts against the lot that was actually used, not the one the BOM assumed would be used.

    Scan output back out

    Finished output is scanned and posted, linking the new lot to every input lot that went into it.

    Trace in one query

    Forward or backward, supplier lot to customer despatch, because every link in the chain was scanned rather than remembered.

Common questions

Production QR Code, answered.

We already use barcodes. Do we have to change them?

No. It is built to be flexible across whichever bar-coding standard your plant already runs. Replacing a working labelling scheme is a cost with no benefit.

Does it work with handheld scanners?

Yes, and with shop-floor tablets. Whatever is already in the operator's hand is usually the right device.

How does this help with a recall?

Because every consumption and output was scanned, the lot chain is complete. Scoping a recall becomes a query, forward from a supplier lot, or backward from a customer despatch.
